Meet our Trainers

Katrina Wright - IFBB PRO/Fitness Manager/PT ISSA

Katrina started her fitness career at the age of 12 while competing on the National Aerobic Gymnastics team in Perth, ON. She competed internationally for 5 years across 3 continents. She became passionate about competing and helping others to achieve their goals by helping to coach younger athletes on the team. This passion lead her to the Kinesiology program at Trent University. She completed 2 years of the program, learning human physiology and anatomy and exercise physiology. In addition she has a personal training certificate through the ISSA (International Sports Science Association). She is keen to help people meet their fitness goals and also creating aspirations and goals within the gym. Katrina looks forward to creating a productive and inclusive atmosphere as Fitness Manager at the gym, and helping IFPs personal trainers achieve their professional goals. 

Katrina is also an IFBB Fitness Pro! She competed at the Toronto Pro Qualifier show in June 2018 and won her pro-card in Fitness. 

Noah Cavalier - Personal Trainer ISSA

Noah has been a personal trainer at Industry Fitness Perth and previously Tay River Reflections for 4 years now. His favourite part about being a trainer is assisting his clients achieve, and surpass their fitness goals. He loves seeing the joy when  clients begin to see the changes and results they have made as a team. Noah believes there is no goal too big or too small. Let him help you find the right balance between commitment and dedication. He  promises to go above and beyond for each one of his clients whether it is weight lifting, functional movements, proper diet or learning how to use different pieces of gym equipment. 

Interests:

I love all sports, specifically soccer and hockey. I enjoy working out and cooking all sorts of fancy dishes. I also enjoy a nice day on the lake and being outdoors, whether it's camping or going for a hike

Liam MacDonald - Stength Coach

Liam MacDonald began his lifting career in 2015, competing in the sport of powerlifting. Culminating in a trip to the Ontario Junior Provincial Championship in 2016. That same year, Liam discovered the sport of Weightlifting while pursuing his diploma in Strength and Sport Conditioning. He has since competed in 6 OWA Weightlifting meets, including a gold medal finish at both the Junior Ontario Provincial Championship 2016, and the College/University Championship 2017.

After graduating, Liam has shifted his focus towards helping other athletes pursue their athletic goals. Liam is now offering 1 on 1 Olympic Weightlifting coaching, as well as in depth athletic coaching, prioritizing strength, speed, power, and functional movement

Amber Hughes - CESP CPT, R.KIN, BSc

Amber focuses  on continual lifelong learning, enhancing the well-being of her clients by empowering them with the knowledge, support, skills and guidance to assist and inspire them on their journey to a healthy life. She specializes in strength training, flexibility, functional training, fat loss, rehab, and sports specific training. Transform your quality of life through participation in regular fitness activities and make your health goals become a reality, in a supportive, fun and dynamic environment. Ambers passion for fitness is what drives  her to help people reach their fitness goals.

Running (currently training for my first marathon), Soccer, Nutrition, Health & Fitness

Pat Fournier- Personal Trainer Canfitpro

Pat has been working in the Fitness World for 20 years.  She is a Group Fitness Instructor as well as Personal Trainer. Fitness has always been Pats' passion and remains strong to this day. She can be found in the gym each and every day striving to help her clients reach their goals, and full potential to be stronger and healthier.

 

Pats skills include Individual Strength Training, Pilates, Cardio Kick-Boxing, Yoga, Piloxing, Piy0, Fall Prevention, Senior Fitness, TRX Instructor, and Pre/Post Natal Instructor. She is also a Nutrition and Wellness Specialist, Isagenix Consultant and has completed Tosca Reno's Eat Clean Program. Pat ensures her CPR is updated annually.

Pat is currently taking the 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) course.

Walker Vanderburgh -  DY HIIT Personal Trainer

Walker Vanderburgh has been in the personal training industry for 6+ years with certification as a DY HIIT Trainer and a background in the Royal Marines.

 

He trains in all aspects of fitness and specializes in endurance and weight loss training , he excels in prioritizing your goals and will give you the tools and knowledge to help get you to your peak fitness levels

Noah Noonan - DY HIIT/ISSA Sports Nutritionist 

Noah's athletic background started with playing football at the age of 12, accumulating 14 seasons over the years and competing at the provincial level. The passion Noah has for football carried over to his studies in nutrition and resistance training which now Noah strives to create to create a training environment that allows his clients to reach their lifelong goals.  Noah focuses on educating and inspiring his clients to help guide them to their goals, whether  it be fat loss, strength training, physique goals or even simple nutrition advice. 

Noah is currently enrolled through N1 Education. and actively attends workshops to further his education. Noah recently attended the Muscle Mechanics Workshop 2018 in Toronto.

Aside from Football Noah enjoys power lifting, bodybuilding, boxing and the odd sushi-inducing coma with his friends.
